Announcing Adrianna Samaniego’s Promotion to Partner

Today we are thrilled to announce Adrianna Samaniego’s well-deserved promotion to Partner at Female Founders Fund.

Since joining FFF three years ago, Adrianna has evaluated over 7,000 deals, played a crucial role in over 20 investments, and provided invaluable support to our portfolio founders. Adrianna’s passion for long-term investing, coupled with her deep expertise in B2B ventures, has also positioned her as a subject matter expert in emerging areas like menopause after conducting extensive research. In addition to her contributions on the investing team, Adrianna has expanded our network, helped foster a strong team culture and played a key role in diversifying deal flow.

Adrianna leads by example in our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and has been instrumental in building out FFF’s Scout Program — focused on early-stage Black, Latinx, and indigenous female founders —which has paved the way for significant investments and commitments in two Scout-backed companies. She also led the initiative to launch Female Founders Fund’s inaugural Entrepreneur in Residence program, resulting in our investment in Hued.

Adrianna’s promotion to Partner — and member of the Kauffman Class 2023 — is a reflection of her exceptional contribution and the profound impact she has had on our organization, and to the greater VC ecosystem at large. We are immensely proud to have her as a member of our leadership team, and look forward to having her taking on an even greater role in shaping the future of Female Founders Fund.
